In 1998, Donglong pioneered in Fujian the lace research   development centre with imported Germany EAT lace design software and top researchers for independent research, development and production. And later with more huge capital investment, the research on the 'green' textile production and the application of the soybean and bamboo charcoal fibre on warp knitting lace were cooperated with Czech Republic high-Mechanical Engineering GERMANY and the warp knitting research centre of Jiangnan University-KARL MAYER Germany respectively. In the same year, Donglong released more than 300 new production varieties for all year round, some of which were introduced by those famous brands like Triumph, Embryform, Maniform, VS, DBA etc, making it the fashion pioneer and the national development base in the lace industry.
